Michael Bedford KC to address NSIP Good Practice for Local Authorities Conference

Michael Bedford KC is to address the NSIP Good Practice for Local Authorities Conference, on 15 March 2023 in Bury St Edmunds, which has been organised by the East of England Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) Centre for Excellence.

Over 90 delegates from local authorities and associated bodies across the region will be attending and Michael will speak about good practice for engagement between local authorities and NSIP developers.

Michael has acted for NSIP developers promoting the Norwich Northern Distributor Road, the Great Yarmouth Third River Crossing, and the Gullwing Bridge in Lowestoft. He has appeared for host local authorities at the Sizewell C, East Anglia One North, East Anglia Two, and Sunnica Energy Farm DCO Examinations.

The NSIP Centre of Excellence is provided by Suffolk County Council with funding from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Innovation and Capacity Fund. The Conference is being hosted by the East of England Local Government Association.
