Edward specialises in public, planning and environmental law, with a particular focus on substantial housing developments and a noted expertise in planning enforcement matters and planning-related prosecutions. He regularly represents a wide range of clients, including developers, local authorities and interested third parties at planning inquiries.

Recommended as a leading planning barrister in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, he is also the co-author of ‘Planning Enforcement‘, a comprehensive guide to planning enforcement in practice.
