Estelle Dehon QC is included in the ENDS Report's ENDS Power List 2022

We are very pleased to announce Estelle Dehon QC has been included in the ENDS Report's inaugural Power List of the most influential environmental professionals in the UK.

The individuals featured in this list have played an integral part in shaping or influencing national or local environmental policy, as nominated by their colleagues, clients and competitors.

Estelle has significant experience in environmental, planning and public law matters, with an emphasis on climate change and advising on net zero development and infrastructure. She has recently represented the local community in the inquiry opposing a new coal mine in Cumbria; represented Wild Justice in challenging failures in regulating burning on peat bogs; advised an international NGO on aviation and shipping emissions under the Paris Agreement and is acting in the Supreme Court case considering downstream emissions caused by fossil fuel development. Her infrastructure work includes the examinations of what will be two of the world's largest off-shore wind developments

Estelle is featured on the list alongside a host of industry leaders such as: Dame Glenys Stacey, the Chair of the new Office for Environmental Protection (OEP); Rebecca Speight, CEO of the RSPB; Chris Stark, CEO of the Climate Change Committee (CCC) and Prof Partha Dasgupta, who led the Dasgupta Review on the Economics of Biodiversity. She has been instructed by Carol Day (Leigh Day), Ingrid Gubbay (Hausfeld) and Tessa Khan (Uplift), who are also included in the list.
