Gerard Forlin QC recently represented a company in Shrewsbury crown court after a roof fall of some 8 meters where an employee sustained serious injuries.
After listening to lengthy submissions by Gerard , the learned judge assessed the actual breach of the company after a plea of guilty on a limited basis
He sentenced the company to a fine of £20,000 plus costs and allowed the company 2 years to pay the fine and costs.
