Secretary Of State Upholds Windfarm Refusal In Stratford On Avon

The case had attracted significant local opposition and a variety of issue were raised in the course of the inquiry, including effect on horses, noise, heritage impacts, noise and AM but it was the particular impact on residential amenity and the visual and landscape that led to the appeal being refused. Of particular note the Inspector found that two properties would become unpleasant places to live, in respect of which the closest turbines were 831m and 965m respectively.
