Sam Fowles named as The Times’ Lawyer of the Week for Parliamentary Privileges case

Cornerstone’s Sam Fowles has been named by The Times as Lawyer of the Week in recognition of a recent case where he acted for John Nicolson MP in a parliamentary privileges matter.
The MP was accused of contempt of parliament after he informed the public that the Speaker blocked MPs from debating whether Nadine Dorries should be censured for misleading parliament over the abortive privatisation of Channel 4.
