In this week’s Three Minute Brief, Sam Fowles focuses on the powers that local authorities and housing providers have to protect women and men from domestic violence. In particular, he questions the new duty introduced by the Domestic Abuse Bill to provide social housing for the victims of domestic violence arguing that local authorities already have the power to do so.
