Tom Cosgrove KC and Alexander Horne appointed as members of the Council of the Inns of Court Disciplinary Pool
Cornerstone’s Joint Head of Chambers Tom Cosgrove KC and Associate Member Alexander Horne have formally been appointed to serve as members of the Council of the Inns of Court (COIC) Disciplinary Pool, effective from 1 February 2023.
Members of the Pool sit on disciplinary tribunals and other panels convened to investigate breaches of the Bar Standards Board (BSB) Core Duties and Regulations and to consider admission and disciplinary cases brought by the Inns of Court against student members and applicants.
Appointments were made by the President of the COIC on the recommendation of the Tribunal Appointments Body following open competition against agreed competencies designed to identify individuals who will approach their work with integrity and objectivity and produce well-reasoned and fair decisions.
