On Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 February 2020 the First-tier Tribunal will hear the last two days of an appeal to the Department for International Trade’s refusal to disclose Brexit trade papers.

The case was originally listed to conclude within two days, on 12 and 13 December 2019, but was adjourned at the end of the second day as the Tribunal panel wanted more time to hear all the evidence.

The case is brought by Brendan Montague, on behalf of Global Justice Now. Brendan is appealing the decision of the Information Commissioner to uphold a refusal by the Department of International Trade to disclose information relating to post-Brexit trade negotiations, requested under the Freedom of Information Act.
