Jeremy Ogilvie-Harris and Hannah Taylor join Cornerstone Barristers as tenants

Cornerstone Barristers are delighted to welcome Jeremy Ogilvie-Harris and Hannah Taylor as new tenants after the successful completion of their 12-month pupillages in Chambers.
Jeremy Ogilvie-Harris has experience in public law, human rights and civil liberties, housing and homelessness, and welfare benefits. He also has an interest in developing a practice in planning, environment and climate law, and data protection law. Recent cases include City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council v Hasan Kazi [2024] EWCA Civ 1037 and M v London Borough of Wandsworth which was reported in the Independent. Jeremy completed pupillage at Cornerstone supervised by Andrew Lane, Ruchi Parekh, Riccardo Calzavara, and Jack Parker.
Hannah Taylor accepts instructions across all areas of Chambers’ work with a particular interest in environmental, planning, public, and Court of Protection work. She completed her twelve-month pupillage under the supervision of Alexander Campbell, Nina Pindham, Ruchi Parekh, and Riccardo Calzavara. Notable instructions include Munícipio de Mariana and Ors v BHP Group Plc and BHP Group Ltd (ongoing) – acting for more than 700,000 Brazilian claimants in proceedings against BHP Group, related to the collapse of the Fundão Dam, considered to be the worst environmental disaster in Brazil’s history (led by various, including Alain Choo Choy KC and Andrew Fulton KC).
