Emma Dring and Ruchi Parekh appointed to the Attorney General’s B Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown, with Rowan Clapp appointed to C Panel

Cornerstone Barristers is delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Dring and Ruchi Parekh to the Attorney General’s B Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown, while Rowan Clapp has been appointed to C panel.

The Attorney General’s panels of counsel consist of just over 400 junior counsel who undertake civil work for all government departments, administered by the Government Legal Department (GLD).

Joint Head of Chambers Tom Cosgrove KC and Philip Coppel KC said: “The appointments of these talented juniors to the Attorney General’s panel acknowledges Cornerstone’s continuing commitment to and expertise in administrative and public law. We are honoured to serve the needs of our government clients with the same dedication and integrity that all our clients can expect.”

The appointments take effect from 1 September 2023 for a period of five years. Ruchi Parekh’s appointment comes just two years after she was appointed to C Panel.
