Venue

Royal College of Surgeons of England

Fee

£135 + VAT

The Cornerstone Planning Team is delighted to invite you to its annual planning conference.

Aimed at planning specialists, solicitors, and policy makers, this year’s conference will specifically focus on the practical and legal issues which arise when challenging and defending planning consents.

Our barristers frequently appear in the leading planning and environmental law cases which shape the planning system and develop planning law. They will be producing and delivering papers on a range of topics including how the courts are interpreting planning policy, practical pointers on bringing and resisting public law challenges, climate change litigation, and planning and environmental law after Brexit.

The conference will be an ideal opportunity to meet our barristers and hear their expert views in an informal and friendly setting, as well as exchange ideas with other planners and solicitors.

We are delighted to announce that The Honourable Mr Justice Dove will deliver the keynote speech. Dove J is a highly experienced judge sitting in the Planning Court and therefore deals with the nexus between public law and planning challenges on a daily basis.

The conference will be followed by an informal drinks reception until 18:00.

The event will be held in accordance with any relevant COVID-19 guidance and legislation in place on 8 November 2021.

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for local authorities and public bodies. If you are interested, please email us on events@cornerstonebarristers.com
